El Ranchito has two nominations to the Goya for the Best Special Effects of 2019 for their work in the films Superlópez, by Javier Ruiz Caldera, and Gun City, by Dani de la Torre. Félix Bergés is the supervisor of El Ranchito nominated for Gun City and Laura Pedro is the Supervisor nominated for Superlópez, which would make her the fourth woman nominated in this category in the history of the Goya and the first since 2007. In case of winning the award, she would be the third, after Ana Nuñez and makeup artist Montse Ribé, who has won three times. The Gala for the Goya Awards will take place in Seville, for the first time, on Saturday February 2nd and presented by Andreu Buenafuente and Silvia Abril. Félix Bergés and Laura Pedro are also nominated to the Gaudí for the Best Visual Effects, which will be delivered on January 3 at the Barcelona Conference Center.
