Going after the Goya

Home / News / Going after the Goya

Two supervisors of effects of El Ranchito compete this year for the Goya to the Best Special Effects. Our collegues Félix Bergés and Eduardo Díaz have had the great honor of being nominated by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Spain thanks to their work in the films A Monster Calls, of J. Bayona, and Julieta, of Pedro Almodóvar, respectively. Although we know that at least one of the two will not be awarded with the “Goya” we wish them all the luck they deserve for their impeccable work. In the list of nominees there are three films in which El Ranchito participated: A Monster Calls, Julieta and The Queen of Spain. In addition, A Monster Calls, with 12 nominations, is the film with the most options within this 31 edition of the Goya awards.
